Who was the Master Builder? ( Belém Tower: the departure point of the explorers)
Francisco de Arruda, a Portuguese military architect, was given the role of master builder in the visionary project of the Belém Tower. Little is known about his personal life, but quite much about his architectural and engineering career.
A temple going viral (Ancient Agora: the birth of Democracy)
Between 1751 and 1755, Nicholas Revett and James Stuart traveled throughout Greece, concentrating their efforts on the listing and documentation of Greek antiquities. To this aim, they recorded the temple in great detail, producing several plans and sketches, later published, in 1795, in their seminal work Antiquities of Athens.
Seville’s Golden Age (Seville City Tour: The Princess of Andalusia)
San Francis Monastery was founded in 1248, and the plaza was developed as its extension. After 1492 and the arrival of Columbus in America, Seville became as powerful as it had ever been, thanks to its river and its evolution as a strategic port of the kingdom during the 16th century.
Stories of an Emperor (The Colosseum: Bread and Games)
The central decoration of the Arch is specifically dedicated to Constantine, depicts his victory over Maxentius, and chronicles the events of the conflict, from Constantine’s departure from Milan with his army to his glorious return to Rome.
M for Mediterranean climate (Montjuic Cable Car: Barcelona’s best view)

All these regions, some very distant from each other, share similar climatic conditions, the so-called Mediterranean climate.
