Beyond the Rainbow: Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community All Year Long

Every June, Pride Month gives us a chance to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community—its history, its culture, and its ongoing fight for equality. You’ll see rainbows everywhere, and for good reason. Pride is a time to be loud, visible, and proud.

But at our company, we believe support shouldn’t stop when the calendar flips to July. Pride is more than a month, it’s a mindset. And it’s one we bring with us every day of the year.

Supporting LGBTQ+ Voices in Travel

As a self-guided audio tour company, we tell stories. And stories matter—especially the ones that haven’t always been heard. That’s why we’re working to make our tours more inclusive, not just during Pride, but all the time. We want our content to reflect the diversity of our world and celebrate voices and experiences that deserve more space in travel and tourism.

We’re also proud to be a diverse team ourselves, with people from different backgrounds, orientations, and perspectives. That diversity helps shape the way we create tours—from the topics we choose to the language we use. Inclusion isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we live.

Spotlight: Our Queer Tour of Mykonos

One project we’re especially proud of is our self-guided audio tour in Mykonos:

“Mykonos: Find Your (Queer) God | Gay Tour.”

This tour invites you to explore Mykonos through a queer lens—connecting the island’s mythological past with its vibrant LGBTQ+ present. It’s designed for those who find inspiration in beauty, freedom, and storytelling.

You’ll visit five stunning beaches that are popular among the gay crowd while uncovering stories of ancient gods, queer love, and playful myths. On this tour, Dionysus might meet you in Agrari, where he carved the first wooden phallus to honor a lost love. Poseidon could be sipping cocktails at Jackie O’, reminiscing about his affair with a beautiful prince. And in Elia, the most famously gay beach on the island, you’ll hear about Endymion—a mortal so beautiful that even the god of sleep couldn’t look away.

This isn’t just a beach tour. It’s a journey that blends pleasure, history, and identity in one of the world’s most iconic queer-friendly destinations. The tone is smart, fun, and just a little bit flirtatious—perfect for exploring Mykonos your way.

If you’re heading to the island soon, we hope you’ll check it out. It’s available anytime, right from your phone, and entirely self-paced.

Pride Is a Beginning, Not a Box to Check

We know there’s a lot of discussion around performative allyship during Pride Month—and it’s a valid concern. That’s why we’re committed to backing our words with actions and showing up even when no one’s watching. To our LGBTQ+ community: we see you, we value you, and we want you to feel represented in the stories we share—not just in June, but year-round. Thanks for walking with us.
