Self-Guided Digital Tours for the Museum’s Permanent Collections

After the creation of the audio tour for the temporary exhibition “Crete. Emerging cities: Aptera – Εleutherna – Knossos" in 2018, the Museum of Cycladic Art proceeded to a second collaboration with Clio Muse Tours for the creation of four self-guided digital tours to the museum's permanent collections.

Using the Clio Muse authoring tool CREATE, the MCA highlighted 111 selected exhibits through 107 stories. Visitors can download the app on their smartphones or tablets and have their personal guide. The Museum of Cycladic Art selected the Clio Muse mobile application as its official self-guided app to provide visitors with a perfectly safe way to explore its exhibitions while avoiding the usage of devices provided.
