Get on to the Montjuïc Cable car, be amazed by the beautiful route of the Montjuïc Cable car and the view, take a slow stroll and admire various sites and monuments. It is the best way to know the history of Barcelona and admire various sites, and monuments that marked the past of the city.
Put on your headphones and explore the Barcelona Pavilion, Poble Espanyol, the Olympic Ring, and the Montjuïc Castle through the power of storytelling and learn historical information and uncommon stories and anecdotes from the history of the city. Tour’s content is the result of in-depth research, squeezed into brief original stories that will make your visit both engaging and informative. This is an unmissable opportunity to gain valuable insights into the cable car’s three stops: Parc Montjuïc, Castell, and Mirador Stop, to discover monuments and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the iconic parks of Barcelona, relating the sites in an entirely original way.
The cable car’s route starts at Parc de Montjuïc, where the cable car goes directly to Castell de Montjuïc without making any stops. On the return route, the Montjuïc Cable Car stops at Mirador de l’Alcalde. Even though this stop is optional, it is highly recommended if you want to relax in the Miramar Costa i Llobera, Cinto Verdaguer and Joan Brossa gardens, with the best views over Barcelona. The return route ends in Parc de Montjuïc. If you like walking, you can get off at the Mirador stop and continue walking to Parc de Montjuïc.
