Directions to starting point
The easiest way to get there is to get down at the Palais Royal/Musée du Louvre Metro station and walk towards the entrance across you. (If you have accessibility issues prefer the line 14 Pyramide metro station. Use the elevator at the Rue de l’Échelle exit and move down towards the end of the Avenue de l’Opéra. Continue straight ahead to Rue de Rohan and cross Rue de Rivoli to access the Pyramid entrance).

Opening hours
Paris City tour: it is a city walking tour, it can be taken any time.
Public holidays: the Louvre is closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. It remains open on all other public holidays unless they fall on a Tuesday, the museum’s day of closure.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (Last entry one hour before closing and the exit starts 30 minutes before closing time)
Friday: 9:00 am – 9:45 pm
