Welcome to the Old Dubai Gallery, where we explore the city’s origins! Let’s start our journey from the very beginning. The desert is vast and unforgiving, and desert life is harsh. The Bedouins, meaning "desert dwellers," were the earliest inhabitants of the Arabian desert. They lived in small, scattered communities focused on camel herding and subsistence farming near oases. Camels were essential to their way of life, providing transport, nourishment, and wealth. Their hides were used for tents, shoes, and warm clothing, while their hair was woven into durable rugs. Camel milk, rich in nutrients, was turned into yogurt or clarified butter, staples of their diet. On special occasions, such as weddings, camel meat was a prized delicacy. But how did we transition from the semi-nomadic life of the Bedouins to...cities?

- No live guide will accompany you, and no VR/AR is included.
